So I was very dubious about this one.\u00a0 Chilli isn\u2019t really something you should be able to cook in fifteen minutes.\u00a0 This dish also has pre-cooked rice which, like 10-minute rice, I\u2019m still not totally convinced by.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The cooking process went smoothly.\u00a0 There is quote a lot to chop up here and just generally quite a bit to do which I think accounts for the minute or so I was over the time.\u00a0 But it wasn\u2019t a difficult one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The end result was unexpected.\u00a0 It really was unexpectedly good.\u00a0 I really didn\u2019t expect much flavour from this.\u00a0 Mainly because it\u2019s a chilli cooked in fifteen minutes.\u00a0 But also because it\u2019s a vegetarian chilli.\u00a0 I have no issues with vegetarian food at all.\u00a0 I very often really love it.\u00a0 But to me a chilli is a long slow cooked dish with meat.\u00a0 Several kinds of meat, at least pork and beef, but a good bit of chorizo makes it all the better.\u00a0 I expected this to be bland and disappointing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It tasted incredible.\u00a0 The flavours were amazing.\u00a0 It was hot but not very hot.\u00a0 Just full of flavor.\u00a0 I think this has more than a little bit to do with the Chipotle chilli that goes in it.\u00a0 This was one of the ingredients on the list of pantry ingredients. I struggled a little to get them, but found them in the end. They smell amazing.\u00a0 They smell like a smoky barbeque sauce.\u00a0 The kind of barbeque sauce you get on a proper barbeque in the south of the USA.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The salad was great too.\u00a0 There is cut up tortilla\u2019s which are baked in the oven which is a bit different but great and an amazing dressing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
