… Bubble & Squeak Mash, Red Onion Gravy\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Ok so this one was also over a month ago.\u00a0 What I know is that this was one that I have been looking forward to cooking since I started this project.\u00a0 It\u2019s just that the pool of people who I know will enjoy the meal and not turn their noses up at liver is quite small.\u00a0 Cooking this for my brother seemed ideal.\u00a0 And while he may not be 100% sold on the idea of liver, it was more than made up for by he offer of a bit of fillet steak. My, supposed \u201cvegetarian\u201d, house mate, Gavin also ate this \u2026<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If I remember rightly, which is not guaranteed at all, the steak was cooked quickly and rested for a suitable period of time and beautifully pink in the middle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If remember rightly the onion gravy was good.\u00a0 It was very good.\u00a0 It was far too good to be able to be made it ten minutes.\u00a0 Yet it was made in ten minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

If I remember rightly the small amount of the onion gravy that was left was used as part of the gravy for the massive roast lamb dinner I cooked for lots of my friends the next day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If I remember rightly I couldn\u2019t get Brussels sprouts for the bubble and squeak and so I used a savoy cabbage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I do remember that this was nice.\u00a0 It was fillet steak \u2013 cooked very well (I don\u2019t always cook steak well).\u00a0 And it was calf\u2019s livers \u2013 I like liver \u2013 I really like calf\u2019s livers.\u00a0 Oh and by the way when I say well<\/em> I don\u2019t mean well,<\/em> as in well done,<\/em> I mean cooked properly \u2013 dark and slightly crispy on the outside and very pink and juicy in the middle.\u00a0 And it seems that I did it in not too bad a time.\u00a0 So a good one all in all.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
