Shame, Shame, Shame on me \u2026 Forgive me for I have sinned, it has be a month since my last \u2026 since I last cooked a Fifteen Minute Meal.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m very aware I\u2019m behind on this project.\u00a0 I\u2019m very, very aware that I\u2019ve been cooking badly again, which can be roughly translated as not really cooking very much at all.\u00a0 Something I\u2019ve learnt about myself is that if I\u2019m not cooking, I\u2019m not happy.\u00a0 I\u2019ve not been cooking properly for the last month or so. I\u2019ve not been happy for the last month or so.\u00a0 It\u2019s a bank holiday a busy one.\u00a0 But a holiday nonetheless.\u00a0 It\u2019s time to cook again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a meal I cooked for my brother who is staying this weekend.\u00a0 It turned out to be a bit of a film night.\u00a0 It reminded me a bit of our old \u201cexclusive film club\u201d nights. We watched 4 \u00bc films on Saturday night and ate this meal during the first (and best) one.\u00a0 That film was \u201cSafety not Guaranteed<\/a>\u201d.\u00a0 It was great.\u00a0 If you like slightly odd, quirky, funny (but a bit sad) films, you\u2019ll like this.\u00a0 I fell a little bit in love with Aubrey Plaza<\/a> and, if you watch the film, you might do too.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So this was a very nice meal.\u00a0 The salad was great.\u00a0 The salad was especially great with the little rarebits.\u00a0 I would make the salad with the rarebits as a little meal on its own.\u00a0 The liver was nice \u2013 I should have chopped it a bit finer \u2013 the chucks felt a bit big and unwieldy \u2013 but it was ok.\u00a0 The liver cost ninety pence \u2013 so a cheap bit of meat.\u00a0 The meal needed Marsala.\u00a0 I don\u2019t have any.\u00a0 That cost about twelve pounds \u2013 so quite an expensive meal all in all.\u00a0 I must remember this salad for later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
